Doggie Daycare
Fun & enriching for all dogs.
About Enrichment Daycare
Our new Enrichment program combines small group Enrichment sessions with individualized attention while focusing on each dog’s natural instincts and unique characteristics. Fun activities will be hand-selected for each group and each pet to provide quality play sessions that are both physically and mentally stimulating. We’ll incorporate training games, scent-tracking games, sports-themed activities, water-themed play, brainy puzzles, and much more, and balance all of this with time to rest and recharge for the next Enrichment session.
Enhanced Experiences
We have never taken a one-size-fits-all approach to the care we provide, and based on our experience and research in the industry, we know that some dogs can become bored or overstimulated in a large group environment. Our team here, along with other pet care experts across the country, have tested this new approach and found that most dogs enjoy these enriching experiences much more! Pet parents agree that their dogs demonstrate better manners, exhibit more confidence, and return home tired but not so exhausted that they aren’t interested in eating or interacting with family.
While fun group play will continue to be a significant source of exercise for many dogs in our Classic Daycare Program, our Enrichment Team is excited to provide these new, enhanced experiences for dogs that are better suited to smaller groups or one-on-one Daycare experiences.

Which Dogs Benefit from Enrichment Daycare?
All dogs benefit from physically and mentally stimulating activities, especially the dogs that fall into one of the categories below:
Puppies
Puppies need to learn to read social cues from other dogs in a fun and safe environment.
Newly Adopted Dogs
Newly adopted dogs who are new to socialization but show a big interest in interacting with other dogs.
Shy or Nervous Dogs
Shy or nervous dogs who prefer human interactions over making new canine friends.
Senior Dogs
Seniors dogs that love to have fun but have a shorter tolerance for a larger group.
Herding & High Energy Breeds
Dogs born with a high drive who require both mentally and physically stimulating activities to allow them to relax when they get home.
Highly Intelligent Dogs
Highly intelligent dogs who become bored very quickly and are sometimes unfairly labeled as “troublemakers” when they really just need more to do!
About Classic Daycare
Classic doggie daycare is perfect for dogs that thrive in a large group setting, providing them with ample opportunities to play and socialize. The program includes extended play sessions in the morning and afternoon, ensuring dogs get plenty of exercise and interaction with their peers. Between play times, there's a midday break for rest and relaxation, as well as pool time for those dogs that enjoy splashing around and cooling off. This dynamic environment is ideal for energetic dogs who love to stay active and make new friends.
A Fun Alternative to Staying at Home
Your dog will run, jump, chase, snuggle and sniff with best friends, all under the care and attention of our trained staff. Daycare dogs will enjoy our fully air-conditioned indoor spaces and enjoy our outdoor play areas equipped with artificial turf, shade sails, kiddie pools, and our full-size, in-ground swimming pool.
Our professional staff members are trained in dog behavior and dog interaction. All Classic daycare dogs go through a thorough, highly selective temperament assessment (Meet & Greet) and are then placed in the daycare program that best suits their behavior and socialization level.
In Classic daycare, dogs will play and socialize with others in a fun, supervised environment. Daycare helps dogs learn manners with both people and other pups while providing exercise for dogs that would otherwise be at home alone all day.

2024 Daycare Availability Calendar
During the holiday season, we experience a significant increase in lodging reservations. To ensure we provide a safe and comfortable environment for all our guests, we need to limit our daycare availability to make space and give extra attention to our lodging dogs. This helps us maintain the high level of care each pet deserves during this busy time. We appreciate your understanding!
Let's Get Started!
At Red Fern, we celebrate the unique characteristics of every dog, and since we offer more than one type of Daycare experience, we start by scheduling a Meet & Greet.
Whether your dog is easygoing and highly social, happier in smaller groups, or prefers the company of humans over making canine friends, our Meet & Greet will help us get to know all about your pup to set them up for success!
When you arrive for the Meet & Greet, a member of our team will explain how the day will proceed and answer any questions you may have about our facility, our team, and our services. We ask that your dog stays with us for a minimum of four hours so we may conduct an evaluation to learn all about their disposition, preferences, and play style.
Our evaluations are not pass or fail since our goal is to recommend the Daycare Program that provides a day filled with fun experiences in a safe and enriching environment. Call us today at 352-355-4310 or provide your contact information below, and we will call you to schedule a Meet & Greet for you and your pup!
